2 Months Old!!!

On the 5th, Aniston turned 2 months old! (Yes, this is delayed... I'm a working Mom now and some of my priorities have shifted) I cannot believe she's that old already!
(This was the best shot she would give me)

She is such a sassy and smiley little girl! She loves to eat and will eat absolutely anything that is put into her mouth... this includes medicine! Whenever she is hungry and screaming for food, the second we put the burp cloth on top of her tiny chest (to catch her messes) she stops crying and starts smiling and kicking her feet. She definitely knows that mean food! Spencer may or may not have used this trick just to calm her down without the reward of food. That did not turn out so well. Ani is sleeping 6-8 hours solid a night, which is soooooooooo AMAZING! The first night she slept a full 8 hours, I didn't even wake up at all. I felt a little guilty that I didn't wake up to make sure she was breathing, but I must have been exhausted! If she does wake up after 6 hours, she quickly eats and then is back to sleep for about 2-3 more hours. She has decided that she likes baths (just not the one she had last night) as long as Spencer doesn't touch her head. And of course she's smiling away! I love how she is starting to recognize Spencer and I so much! When we where in Utah, there were several times where she would just scream until she was held by either Spencer or I. It might be mean, but I loved that! Aniston has such an amazing way of making me feel needed and wanted! The only time I don't love this is in the wee hours of the morning. We took her in for her 2 month checkup and she was in the 56% for both weight and height... I have myself a proportioned baby folks! She now weighs 11lbs and is 22 1/2 inches long! She still seems so tiny to me though! She's definitely still wearing her newborn clothes and 0-3 month clothes are rather large on her... but that just means her clothes will last longer so I'm okay with that! She also got the dreaded shots.... She actually did really good and only cried for a second, but she did have a fever and was pretty lethargic which sucked, but she's doing awesome! Spencer and I are having a blast with our little baby! We love her so much! Here's to a thousand more months with little Ani!
Right before her shots... so happy! She had no idea what was coming.

 Poor little legs!
 She loves looking at everything!

Blessing Aniston

We spent 5 days over the holiday weekend down in Utah with our amazing family and friends for Aniston's blessing. We decided to ease the financial burden of travel and to ensure that all of our favorite people could be there that Utah was the best place for the blessing. We had a blast!!! I got to go to a Copper Hills football game to see my old cheerleaders which was AMAZING! I loved introducing them to Aniston and being able to chat with them like back in the day. But I think I heard about more drama in that hour than I have had the entire time I have been coaching in Rexburg... haha. Spencer's entire family was able to be there which was a HUGE blessing, and my family (minus Jason) including my grandparents were able to come. We definitely are feeling a little homesick for Utah now, but we know that we are where we are suppose to be. (Once again... picture overload!!!)

Visiting with my Copper Hills girls!!!
 Papa's first time holding Aniston.
Just for Jake, she broke out the Hitler salute

 Ryan's first time holding Ani.
How cute is this little face?!?!? My little (can you call him that?) cousin Camden.
 Nana with Cort and Ani

 Happy grandparents
 Papa with his granddaughters
We see this face a lot... she's about ready to scream

It was while she was screaming in this picture that my brother in law Chris shouted from behind us, "Quiet that crying baby down." Or something to that effect.... Thank you Chris
All of Spencer's family who came to the blessing
Camden could be the child of Spencer
4 generations on my Dad's side
Ummm. Since when did Ryan get taller than me?
4 generations on my Mom's side
 My and the Uncles

 Me and my Grandpa!
 Spencer and his parents
Little Chloe holding Aniston... Super cute!
Having Spencer's Dad there was probably one of the biggest blessings! His Dad has been diagnoised with Parkinson's and Spencer was really worried that he would never get to meet Aniston. We made sure that Grandpa had pleanty of time holding her. It made Spencer's world to have his Dad there and to hold Ani.

Definitely wish that I lived in Utah just so I could get to know Rosiane better! We loved spending time at Spencer's brother's house to be able to get to know his family better!
Me and the parental units.

We just feel so blessed! Thank you to everyone who came to be there for us! Stay tuned for the awesome (and by awesome I mean AMAZING) blessing pictures that Kim took as well as my little Ani's 2 month update!!!! (Can you believe she's already 2 months old?)

Daycation to Yellowstone!!!

So rumor has it that Yellowstone is going to be the death of us all... so we figured while we're still alive we might as well go and check it out. I've been there before, but Spencer and Ani hadn't. We had a great day, but we are simply exhausted now. Prepare for picture overload!!!
So Aniston will be 2 months in a week and a half, but she obviously isn't fitting into 0-3 month old clothes yet judging by the shorts... But aren't high waisted bottoms in style? Haha!
Baby slept through 3 state lines and the entire drive to the park! My little traveler!

Don't worry... Spencer was totally driving at this point. I'm a very distracting passenger. Pretty sure this was taken right after my Call Me Maybe dance. Spencer refuses to make a music video with me... but I have an awesome vision for the best Call Me Maybe video ever!
Checking out the first geyser. Yes, that's a Moby wrap. Ani loves it and it's so stinking comfortable!!! Check out my shadow... Looks like a buffalo!
I promise he did have a good time.
That's not something hanging out of Spencer's nose... it's just bad lighting.

Sleeping all the live long day!
Homeboy Buffalo was just walking along the side of the road. Totally made Spencer's day. All he wanted was to see a Buffalo, and we got to see 3 of them!
Made me a little nervous that he was so close... Have you seen that State Farm commercial? Those suckers are dangerous!

This little fella flew into through my open window while I was snapping pictures of the Buffalo. Literally went through my hair and attacked Spencer... There may or may not have been high pitched screaming coming from more than one person in the car.
Thank goodness for random strangers who offer to take pictures for us. Also thank goodness for stretchy pants!!!! Someday I will wear jeans again. Probably not in the near future but someday.
 Waiting for Old Faithful...

Somebody just had to eat.... Look at those chubby little hands!
 Burping the Babes.

The shorts... Haha!!! She's gonna hate these pictures when she gets older!
This was inside the Inn at Old Faithful... Pretty incredible.
These are our "Holy crap we are standing on one giant volcano" faces...
That's Ani's version, with a little help from Dad.
Someone was getting tired of having her picture taken over and over and over.
 Poor baby acne...
 Spencer and Old Faithful.
Please notice my daughter's sweet rat tail!
Those shorts are awful... I should have changed her outfit dang it... But here's proof that Aniston was at Old Faithful in 2012!

Please tell me someone else watched the episode of Design Star this last season when they designed the Yurts??? I actually saw real Yurts at Yellowstone. Awesome blossom.
Spencer definitely didn't realize I had licked him until about 10 seconds later.... I'm a child, and yes, he was driving.
This is my classic high school self portrait.

We had a great time today! It was really cool to be able to hang out and actually do something fun as a family. I have a blast going to new places with Spencer since he has never been able to travel much. He gets so excited and it makes the experience a thousand times better! While waiting for Old Faithful we probably heard about 10 different languages being spoken. It's really cool to live so close to a place that people come from all over to see. Next time we go we want to hit up the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. We just got too tired and hot today to even attempt. What a great daycation!!!!
